On behalf of our entire staff, welcome to American Legion Boys State! I am so glad that you have taken this step to learn more about us. Boys State was founded on and continues to promote the principle “Democracy Depends on Me."

Each day of camp, mock elections and campaigning are interspersed with visits from prominent persons including notable elected officials, political writers, and inspirational speakers. Of course time is set aside each day for recreation. Each evening culminates with a leadership discussion in smaller groups to review the day's events. It’s one week that changes lives.

My hope is that you will apply to attend this summer’s American Legion Boys State.
